A big bloody heart

 

Yogyakarta, 2022

It's a story about two young people who fell in love harder than they could have imagined. 

The story they have never expected in their life, 

the story that is going to change every single aspect of their life.

Here's the story with a sad and confusing ending. 

these two young people had no idea what they were doing. 

they were just trying to lift up each other, to give colour to their grey ash life. 

supported one another like nobody else could. 

she saw him grow from a sensitive mad guy to 

a sweet gentle big boy. 

and he turned her from someone so insecure about everything in her: her face, body, and worth into 

a confident woman who believes in herself, a beautiful woman with a smile on her face. 

she felt safe and protected, 

he felt loved and motivated. 

it wasn't perfect but they completed each other. 

but they were not prepared for the worst scenario. 

they liked to ask silly questions like 

" what if one day we can't be together ?" " what if I marry someone else?" 

those questions were so silly and didn't feel real at all. 

they were joking around. 

until one day those questions become so real and echo in their head for a couple of months. 

sigh.

like a really bad tornado trying to destroy a house in the desert. 

she tried to hold on, hold onto every piece. 

trying so hard to keep things in place. 

but the tornado was so crazy, all the stuff and memories were floating away. 

she once again, tried and tried to not lose the house. 

but she was just alone. how could she save the house alone?

meanwhile, 

he was there, giving another hope. saying he will fix it once more. 

he promised her a home, 

but the house is empty now. 

he left her alone with broken pieces of memories they had built for years. 

even when he was not in the house anymore, 

he was still the same, a sweet and gentle man. 

but, she couldn't stay in the empty house. 

until one day, 

she knows.- she is not welcomed in the house. 

she left with a broken heart and a big hole in her heart. 

she didn't pack her stuff, 

she left him a big bloody heart on the kitchen table, 

wishing it was enough to make him know that her heart belonged to him. 

and he will keep that for the rest of his life. 

what a sad and confusing ending.
